Boxers In Need. If you've landed on our site there is every chance that you are involved in the exciting world of boxing. Whether at an amateur, professional, operational or management level we know how devoted those in the world of boxing are to supporting their sport.

A fantastic, exciting sport to be involved in, but we all know that getting started at a young age can be tough, very tough and not accessible to all for varying reasons. ​
​
For the few, it offers a route to a successful career both in aspirational and monetary terms, but for some they fall on hard times and they too need the support of Boxers In Need.
​
Who Are We?
Boxers In Need was founded in 2024 by Gary Cornforth, retired businessman and long time supporter of grass routes boxing, and Peter Fury, renowned boxing trainer, and is now supported by many ambassadors from the world of boxing.
​
Gary and Peter identified a need for support, not only to kids looking to get off the streets and into a sport that helps builds confidence, discipline and routine, but also to amateur boxing clubs, which are often run by volunteers on a shoe string, and last but certainly not least, retired boxers who are now struggling after giving up the sport they love.
​
We are currently in the process of applying for Charitable Trust status, so are unable too take any further donations or memberships at this time. But will be back soon.
